Shabbat Symposium on Jewish Thought, Religion, Liturgy, and Culture

Food Bank Volunteering – SF-Marin Food Bank

Please join volunteers from B'nai Emunah and the rest of the Southside Jewish Collaborative in volunteering to sort and pack the food donations that come in. From bins of oranges straight from the grove to 2,000-pound totes of rice, volunteers ensure that there are always hands at the ready to pack the food for distribution. Children aged 4 and older are welcome.

Tisha B’Av Service at NT

Please join us for an engaging Tisha B'Av evening of study, song and meditation followed by a chanting of the book of Lamentations. By candlelight the traditional chanting of Eicha, interwoven with translation, will invite us to contemplate the ancient and contemporary themes of spiritual darkness and desolation.

HHD Choir Rehearsal

B'nai Emunah's all-volunteer choir for the High Holy Days is in desperate need of male voices. Last year we had only one bass for most of the High Holy Day services and most of the time, no tenor. Kehillah San Francisco is a lay-led community that has been growing and evolving over the past five years. Through learning, prayer, and service to others, we are building a participatory community, in which we share knowledge, experience, questions, and discoveries.
