Bonnie Lindauer

President, Membership Committee Chair, Personnel Committee Chair, Social Action Chair, Sisterhood Leader, Assistant Choir Director

Bonnie Lindauer has been a member of Congregation B'nai Emunah since 1993.  Over the years she has been the Sisterhood President and is now the lead person for the Sisterhood Leadership Team.  She has also served on the Board of Directors for several terms, currently as second vice-president.

Since taking Rabbi Mark's Mussar classes, she has become a serious Mussar student and practitioner. Other synagogue activities she enjoys are the book group, singing in the choir and volunteering at the SF Food Bank. 

She has worked as an academic librarian for 30 years in New York, Ohio and California and has a B.A. in French and Music; M.L.S. and a M.P.A. degree.  

Her personal interests and hobbies are making music (she studies cello and plays piano); writing children's stories; reading; volunteering with environmental organizations and children's after-school homework assistance, and spending time with her husband Martin and their dog Rocky.
