Gabriele Lange Edwards
Gabriele has been a member at BE for the past 13 years. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors.
Gabriele is originally from Heidelberg, Germany. She studied Journalism at the Freie Universität Berlin (MA 1994) and received an MFA in Photography at the San Francisco Art University (1998).
For the past three years, she has been attending the Multimedia Department at City College in SF to learn the newest development in social media and recently received a certificate in web production and design.
Gabriele is also a commercial photographer specializing in portraits and live style.

Our Story
We were founded in 1949 by German-speaking Jews, many of whom spent WW II in Japanese-occupied Shanghai.
Today, we are about 100 family units with diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.
We are affiliated with the Conservative Movement.
