Holy Rollers and Torah Trope Hevruta

January 23, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm PDT

A committed, small group of congregants meet monthly on Tuesday nights to care for our Torah Scrolls. Trained by a professional sofer (a Torah scribe), the group systematically cleans the scrolls, about eight columns per event. As the volunteers wait for the Torah panels to air out (for about an hour), the Torah Trope Hevruta gets going. Learners meet to be introduced to and to master Torah trope. Come join the fun on Tuesday evenings. No experience necessary!
