The Rabbi Search Committee has been busy with vetting and interviewing interim rabbi candidates. We’re very close to identifying our finalists – and once we have done so, we’ll invite each one out on a different Shabbat to lead services, give a drash and an afternoon teaching session, observe havdalah and have some social time with congregants, and have a face-to-face interview.
On the weekend of July 14th, we are honored to have Rabbi Elisheva Salamo at B’nai Emunah for the following events:
- Friday July 13, 7:30pm Kabbalat Shabbat
- Saturday July 14
10:00am Shabbat Service led by Rabbi Elisheva Salamo
1:00pm Teaching by Rabbi Elisheva Salamo
7:00pm Havdalah and Social Reception with Rabbi Elisheva Salamo
Please mark the weekend of July 21 on your calendars a a potential date for other candidates to be with us. This will be your chance to meet them and then provide your input afterward to the Search Committee.
We will confirm exact dates according to finalists’ schedules, as soon as possible.
June 9 was truly a night to remember. We celebrated the ten years of Rabbi Mark’s devotion to B’nai Emunah. Our community came together for a beautiful evening with food, speeches, camaraderie, and song at this bittersweet turning point, as Rabbi Mark departs.
Coming soon: photos from the event.
