The B’nai Emunah Sisterhood is a vibrant group of women from the congregation. It serves several purposes to help women make Judaism more meaningful and vital:
- Sisterhood promotes friendship and caring through programs that are educational, cultural, civic, social or religious. We aspire to be inclusive and offer events for the synagogue’s children and youth.
- Sisterhood raises funds and works collaboratively with the synagogue’s Board to support the work of B’nai Emunah.
- Sisterhood looks for ways to contribute to tikkun olam, such as encouraging volunteers at the San Francisco Food Bank, Bikkur Cholim visits to sick and elderly members of the community, and volunteering at events sponsored by the Southside Jewish Collaborative’s Tikkun Olam Committee.
