Torah Study
Weekly on Shabbat Afternoon from 1:30 to 3:00 PM at B’nai Emunah. Led by Rabbi Pam. Each week, we study something from the Torah with a focus on what is in the written Torah as well as midrash (commentary) and ideas relating to Torah, including our own ideas and innovations. Knowledge of Hebrew or previous study of Torah are not required.
Adult Hebrew Class
Select Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Taught by Sharon Bleviss. For beginners and those who have already begun studying Hebrew. Learn to read and write and some practical Hebrew words. Cost: $36 for six weeks.
Lunch n’ Learn
Third Thursday of each month from 12:00 to 1:30 pm. Enjoy lunch and socializing followed by in-depth study with one of the Rabbis of the Southside Jewish Collaborative. Check the calendar or the BE Mail for location and details.
Meal in a Bag – Tikkun Olam for the Most Needy.
3rd Thursday of each month at 1:30 PM immediately following Lunch n’ Learn. Join us as we make sandwiches and pack them and other ingredients into bags for a homeless outreach program.
